Photo Portfolio #1
This photography portfolio will count as an organizational piece to my assignment portfolio. The goal is to take photos of things that strike you. For this first portfolio, you can take photos of anything you desire. Below are some photos that I took myself. Each one I absolutely love, most of them have a good story or memory behind it.
"Wishing Well"
2-14-15 Camera: IPOD I was wandering through my garage looking for something, then I stumble upon my dads bucket of coins. He started collecting a whole bunch of coins in this bucket when he first started college. I always tease him and say how Im going to take this bucket to Walmart and cash it in. "Yellow House"
2-15-15 Camera: IPOD T'was a Sunday afternoon, the sun was high, blazing its heat onto everything. As Im walking around my dads complex I start taking photos of random things, such as mailboxes, and hallways. But then I take a photo of this old tattered yellow house with a tree behind it. Of course at the time I thought nothing of it but when I start scrolling through my photos, the picture actually came out great. The yellow really sets the photo. "Chrome Rims"
2-15-15 Camera: IPOD I just got out of church, and my dad is low on gas . We head to "Shell" (gas station), as my dad starts pumping gas this tough guy comes riding into station #2 with this nice blue motorcycle I could tell he just gave it a wash because I could see the shine from the rims. I ask the guy "Gave it a wash?", he says "No, I just drove through some mud ." I was too appalled to answer back. "Tin Slide"
2-15-15 Camera: IPOD Im at Murry Ridge Park with my dad and brother. All three of us have been coming here together over the past years. I belive the last time we went all together was when I was ten and my brother was seven. We've grown up a lot Everything still looked the same. Same swings, jungle jim, slides. I started heading towards my favorite slide remembering the times when I could actually slide down without my legs covering half of it. Murry Ridge will always be a special place for all three of us. Dad, Boch, and Gloriann. |
"Spring is Here"
2-14-15 Camera: IPOD I was wandering around my neighborhood looking for great shots to take of something that will be drawn to the viewers eyes. I end up snapping this photo of this beautiful flower. The flower had such an amazing color that went well with the blue sky. "Valentines Day"
2-14-15 Camera: IPOD Spending the day with my dad and my brother, everyone spreading love on this day that brings everyone together, were heading to this flower shop to buy some roses for my mother and as I walk through the entrance I see this wall filled with hanging flower bouquets. The flowers in that shop had so much color, its amazing what a little seed, rain, and some sunshine can do. "An Ombre Sky"
2-15-15 Camera: IPOD Its around 5:40, I'm with my dad and brother just getting out of the car when the sun is shining its last bit of light causing the sky to have this ombre affect. The sky has a beautiful pattern of different shades of blue from darkest to lightest. I notice that the trees look like silhouettes. "Naked Tree"
2-15-15 Camera: IPOD Im wandering around my dads neighborhood when I enter another apartment complex. I see trees everywhere either full of leaves or blossomed flowers since spring is near. Then I come across this tree, naked. No leaves on the branches. I love how you can see the detail of the branches because of the baby blue background. |
